3.1.1. The Contractor shall provide portable moving services including all labor, materials, superintendence, tools and equipment necessary for completion of assigned work, subject to the terms and conditions of the contract. 3.1.2. The Contractor(s) shall be able to complete all tasks normally encountered in portable moving services. 3.1.3. For the purpose of the contract, the District Representative shall be the individual assigned by the District to manage the project of question. The District Representative may be one individual from one department assigned to the contract for the full term, or different individuals from more than one department for a specific project. 3.1.4. Notwithstanding the requirements of this Contract, if VISD determines that repairs or services have to be performed which VISD determines are outside of or exceed the scope of services included herein, VISD reserves the right to procure such repairs or services through a separate process. 3.1.5. Contracts for services will be put into effect by means of purchase orders executed by the Director of Purchasing. The conditions stated herein are applicable and form a part of all contract documents and a part of the terms of all purchase orders for items included in the specifications and proposal forms issued herewith. 3.1.6. All work shall commence upon acceptable work statements and schedules supplied by Contractor and agreed in writing by the VISD. VISD may issue a Work Authorization Form for use in addition to purchase orders for the purpose of identifying Scope of Work, timeline, cost, and providing work authorization. 3.1.7. The Contractor must comply with all National, State and Local codes and pay all applicable cost, fees and permits. Applicable reimbursements will be done at invoice time. 3.1.8. The Contractor may be required to visit the premises where work is to be performed prior to work authorization, as it is the Contractor’s responsibility to identify all costs associated with a particular project.
