Platte City Middle School Library Flexible Seating We are looking to create a space in our library for students to come and read and relax. The identified space is approximately 15’ x 38’. This area needs to be a mix of soft seating and also allow some space for students to finish up any work that they may have to complete. Pathfinder Elementary (2) and Barry Elementary (1) Pre-K Classrooms (3 Total Classrooms) We will have three Pre-K classrooms that we need to furnish this coming year. (We would like to match the colors at Barry (Handspun Pearl) and Pathfinder (Unsure of specific laminate) ● Seating for 15 students ● We will need to purchase tables for seating. We would like to fit 4 students per table with enough room for teachers to pull alongside the students. ● 15 chairs that will accomodate Pre-K students ● Kidney table for each room (Narrow enough that teacher can easily assist students ● Flexible / soft seating for the classroom that would accommodate 6 pre-kindergarten students. This is in addition to the dedicated 15 student seating. Here is a summary of what is desired for this space: ● Library lounge seating ● Seating for 24 students ● Material needs to be so that we can wipe it down ● Open to having a mix of booth seating and individualized seating ● If we are having anything that low to the ground, it needs to have back support ● Would be open to pull up work stations ● Budget: $25,000 to $30,000
