A. Construct work under lump sum contract, including general construction work, site work, mechanical work, and electrical work. B. Provide and pay for: 1. Labor, materials, and equipment. 2. Tools, construction equipment and machinery. 3. Utilities required for construction. 4. Other facilities and services necessary for proper execution and completion of work. C. Secure and pay for, as necessary for proper execution of work all permits, licenses, and government fees. D. Contractor shall be responsible for filing with proper authorities to obtain all required permits for construction. E. Submit copies of all permits, licenses, and other similar permissions obtained, and receipts for fees paid, to the owner directly with a copy to the Architect for information only. F. Contractor shall at appropriate times, give notice to proper authorities when on-site inspections are required. G. Promptly submit written notice to Architect of observed variance of contract documents from legal requirements. It is not contractor's responsibility to make certain that drawings and specifications comply with codes and regulations. Assume responsibility for work known to be contrary to such requirements without notice.
