The general scope of work shall consist of Social Work Services for ages 0-21 years. Selected Contractors shall employ licensed social workers at the Licensed Master Social Work (LMSW) or Licensed Certified Social Work-Clinical (LCSW-C), who will provide developmentally and educationally appropriate assessments and therapy services to students aged 0-21 years of age. Contractors must bid on all service options. They include hourly direct, hourly indirect, assessment rate, and daily rate. Hourly rates will be with the approval of the Related Services supervisors. Social work assessments shall be completed by licensed social workers and must be of acceptable quality, meeting the clinical documentation requirements in accordance with accepted industry standards and City Schools’ policies and procedures. Contractor(s) shall conduct a review of the referral information and confidential file in preparation for each assessment. This review should include communication with the IEP team members, parent/guardian, teachers, service coordinator, and others, as appropriate. Contractors shall conduct assessments using procedures and/or tests that are valid for the child to whom administered, appropriate for the age of the child and reason for referral. Contractor(s) shall provide accurate and timely reporting of completed assessments as defined by IDEA, Code of Maryland Regulations (COMAR), and City Schools’ Business Rules, and completion of third-party billing information via Third Party Billing (TPB) forms and electronic data systems.
