The Tioga County Department of Public Works will be responsible for all Maintenance and Protection of Traffic along with removing all felled trees and chipping any and all branches, etc. Trees are to be cut such that the stump of the tree shall not be higher than 6” off existing ground. Contractor to fell all trees as directed by the Commissioner of Public Works or his designee as required throughout Tioga County along any County Roadway by whatever means necessary, including all labor, materials and equipment necessary to satisfactorily complete the work. All work required shall be completed in compliance with any time schedule as may be set by mutual agreement between the County and successful bidder. Per location of work the contractor is to provide the county with the amount of hours per assignment per location which is to be mutually agreed upon per the Commissioner of Public Works or his designee, with a minimum hour per assignment of eight (8) hours.
