Scope of work will include: Crosswalk Striping: • Apply durable, high-visibility thermoplastic or equivalent striping material to designated crosswalks. • Ensure compliance with the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) standards. • Prepare surfaces by cleaning and removing debris to ensure proper adhesion of striping materials. • Stripe crosswalks in various configurations (e.g., ladder-style, standard two-line crosswalks) as specified. Related Pavement Marking Services: • Install stop bars, lane lines, and arrows at intersections as needed. • Re-stripe or refresh existing pavement markings to ensure visibility and compliance. • Provide specialty markings (e.g., school zones, bike lanes) as specified in task orders. Materials and Quality Standards: • Use high-durability materials designed for heavy traffic areas and weather resistance. • Ensure markings are skid-resistant and reflective for enhanced nighttime visibility. Traffic Control: • Provide all necessary traffic control measures during work to ensure the safety of workers and the public. • Coordinate with the City’s Public Works or Traffic Department to minimize disruptions. Schedule and Deliverables: • Work must be performed within the agreed-upon timeline. • Submit a detailed work plan and timeline for approval before commencing work. • Provide before-and-after documentation of each completed project area, including photos and measurements.
