The purpose of this RFP is to enter into a contract to provide: archival supplies that will be used to box, move, and store CCE's collections at the new museum and storage facility. This RFP will result in multiple contract awards. The Department of Cultural and Community Engagement (CCE) is a state government agency responsible for preserving and sharing Utah’s history and art. Currently, CCE houses its collections in a standard multi-use building and a converted storefront in Salt Lake City, Utah. These buildings were not designed for their current use and their storage deficiencies place the collections at significant risk. The Utah State Legislature, recognizing this risk has developed a project for the construction of a state museum with space specifically created to house CCE’s history and art collections. The timeline for this project is 3 + years with an expected opening of May 2026. Prior to opening, CCE expects to being packing the collection for a move (scheduled Fall 2026) in late 2025.
