The City is seeking a firm, or collection of firms, to provide property appraisal services for property transactions as needed by the City. The properties to be appraised are within the City of Prosser and can include private and government holdings. It is required that each appraisal report be signed by a State certified MAI appraiser who is also on the most current WSDOT Fee Appraiser List. The appraiser shall furnish a Self-Contained Appraisal Report (USPAP Standard Rule 2-2(a)) in triplicate together with a single CD containing the report in Portable Document Format (PDF) for all properties when a written authorization to appraise has been issued. The City will only accept a Self-Contained Appraisal Report (USPAP Standard Rule 2-2(a)). However, when prior written authorization is given by the City to the Contractor, a Summary Appraisal Report format may be used to prepare the report. The City will generally not accept restricted appraisal reports.
