Scopes of work will be accepted for program submissions in the following areas: (Organizations may apply for more than one area. Each SOW will be scored individuals. Clearly state each area or combination of you are submitting scope of work for.) 1. Area 1: Healing Relationships/Intergenerational Healing a. Purpose: To increase access and build capacity for healing and community restoration. b. Scope of work may include, but is not limited to: i. Promote healing, behavioral health and trauma reduction. ii. Anti-retaliation component. iii. Strengthen treatment and healing services for survivors of violence. iv. Improve cultural competence and support cultural identity of community members. v. Strengthen and preserve health relationships (i.e. intergeneration healing and restorative justice). vi. Mentorship (i.e. Elders Circle, Strengthening Families or similar model). 2. Area 2: Wrap Around Services/Strength-focused Case Management a. Purpose: To focus on youth’s inherent strengths abilities, and potential to overcome challenges and achieve their goals; to concentrate on identifying and leveraging the positive attributes and resources of each young person. b. Scope of work make include, but is not limited to: i. Using intensive case management, developing goals, daily check-ins, referral navigation. ii. Developing, tracking and implementation of Life Map Goals (e.g., What your goal is; When do you want to reach it; What do you need to learn to reach your goal; What steps can you take to reach your goal; Who can help you reach your goal; What resources can help you reach your goal). iii. Daily check-ins iv. Referral navigation 3. Area 3: Cultivate Economic Stability/Economic Justice a. Purpose: To strengthen economic support for families. b. Scope of work may include, but is not limited to: i. Strengthen financial literacy understanding ii. Increase economic development and access to economic opportunity in core neighborhoods iii. Paid internship opportunities for impacted youth 4. Area 4: Youth Violence Prevention Education a. Purpose: To assess and expand the reach of new existing best practice violence prevention education programs...
