Community Development Consultant Team and Project Management • Establish and manage a Community Development Team, which may include sub-consultants with which the primary Consultant is responsible for entering into contracts, to perform services in connection with this RFP. • Establish project management systems including schedules, budgets, project meetings, and meeting notes in collaboration with the City Planning Team that provide for regular deliverable updates, scope of work updates, risk analysis, and governance and decision-making matters. • Establish key benchmarks and public meetings (30%, 70%, 100%) schedule with agenda, engagement materials, presentations, and assist with identifying appropriate venues. (The City will be responsible for translators, refreshments, and other convening costs). • Collaborate with the City Planning Team regularly on all matters related to this scope of work. Planning Process • Develop the community development engagement strategy to inform the Neighborhood Stabilization Plan (NSP) through a co-creation process with community organizations pursuant to the MCDP, as follows: o Structuring and facilitating an equitable partnership between a professional community development team and local community organizations to create inclusive, creative, and welcoming planning processes. These efforts will prioritize communities that have been underrepresented in planning and public policy making, including youth and families, Spanishspeaking populations, Indigenous and people of color, low-income residents, and people living in surrounding areas of Midtown.
