: The Agency is seeking the services of a qualified professional architectural/engineering firm to design and develop construction documents for the renovation of the heated storage facility to convert the facility to a gymnasium space at the MCA South Campus in Montgomery, WV. The improvements will provide an area for cadets and staff to assemble during times of inclement weather. The improvements will be installed to support elements of the West Virginia Army National Guard Command. Project and Goals: The project goals and objectives are listed below. Vendors should discuss any anticipated concepts and proposed methods of approach for achieving each of the listed goals and objectives: Provide a complete design including all engineering and architectural disciplines to prepare construction bid documents for West Virginia State Purchasing. Key design elements include utilizing energy efficient, economically and maintenance friendly equipment. Designer shall be responsible for researching and investigating the location of existing utilities, and to provide drawings and specifications of any and all aspects of project as needed and directed by the owner and/or state agency, utility company or other approval authority for Montgomery, West Virginia. Drawings and specifications are to be submitted at 35%, 65%, 95% and 100%, cost estimates are to be revised and submitted with each submittal at 35%, 65%, 95% and 100%. Provide construction bid services and administrative services to the Owner.
