1. Quarterly Sampling Inspections of Fleet, Facilities, and Records a. The Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority's (Metro) Office of MetroAccess Service owns and operates a fleet of up to 665 vehicles (currently Ford T-350 Transit high-roof paratransit vans, Toyota Camry Hybrid sedans, and Dodge cutaway style vans) through contractors. Vehicles are currently garaged at three locations within the immediate Washington, DC Metropolitan area (two in PG County, MD, and one in Fairfax County, VA). At the time of this offering, the average age of the fleet is approximately 2 years of service. b. The successful candidate for this contract must be able to demonstrate the capability and capacity to perform the prescribed maintenance compliance reviews "on-location” and must also provide proof that a sufficient number of highly skilled personnel who are properly trained in vehicular maintenance and repair are in their employ to ensure the successful completion of each review in a timely manner.
