This Request for Proposal (RFP) is for Locating Services. The Kansas City Board of Public Utilities (BPU) and the Unified Government of Wyandotte County / Kansas City, Kansas’ Environmental Services (KCKES) are seeking proposals from interested proposers for services necessary to locate BPU water and KCKES facilities as required by Kansas law, as set forth in Kansas House Bill No. 2041, and facilitated through the Kansas One-Call system based in Wichita, Kansas. Contractor will have a separate contract with both the BPU and the UG based on the pricing submitted in the Bid form (Exhibit D – Pricing). The term of the agreement shall be from the date of execution of the agreement for a period of three years; however, if mutually agreed by both parties in writing, this agreement can be extended for a period of one year at the end of the three-year agreement up to a maximum of five years total.
