Weekly (except during drought). Mow grass at Jenkins Park including the 2 dog fields, excluding the back baseball field but including the west and south areas surrounding the baseball field. Twice monthly: (except during drought). Weed whack and trim at Jenkins Park, excluding the perimeters of the 2 ponds. Mowing Specifics. Generally: When mowing, remove any fallen branches and sticks. Do not mow over litter, pick up litter. When mowing near trails, mow away from them so the grass clippings are not left on the trails. Note: Areas described start at park driveway and rotate clockwise around the park; refer to map(s). 1. Mow grass in the playground area, which includes the open grassy area to the south of the playground equipment (between the playground and Jenkins Road). 2. Mow the swath of land between ponds and the south side of the pond near Jenkins Road. Mow along the current trimmed border that circumvents the ponds. 3. Mow the grassy area on the west side of the ponds; remove any fallen sticks. The park boundary on the southwest corner is the stone wall.
