The Maryland Department of Health (MDH or the Department), Center for Cancer Prevention and Control (CCPC), is issuing this Request for Applications (RFA) to provide cancer prevention, education, screening, and treatment for the purposes of reducing morbidity and mortality rates of cancer. This RFA focuses on the following cancers for public outreach on prevention and education: breast, cervical, colorectal, lung, oral, prostate and/or skin (melanoma). At a minimum, patient navigation and clinical services are required for colorectal cancer; in subsequent option years, patient navigation and clinical services will also be required for lung cancer. The target population for this grant is low-income individuals residing in Prince George’s County.
