FABRICATION AND DELIVERY OF STEEL SUBSTATION STRUCTURES; 84th & Bluff Substation NWO: 5039698; 40th & Gertie Substation NOW: 5036473; The scope of work shall consist of designing, detailing, manufacturing, and delivering steel pole structures. These specifications are intended to establish design conditions and to describe the type, general construction, and specific features of the steel structures specified herein. Structures shall be of the general configuration and design characteristics as that shown on LES structure standard drawing included with the bid documents. To be included are all structural framing members such as poles, anchor bolt cages, and all associated hardware items. Not to be included are pier foundations, insulators, or any conductor support hardware. The details shown on the LES structure standard drawing are intentionally generalized to allow the manufacturer to utilize their standard methods and details while meeting the LES structural and dimensional requirements.
