The circuit switcher to be furnished will be used for transformer switching and protection. It shall have an interrupting device and an integral vertical break, side break, or double end break disconnect switch mounted on the same structure. The circuit switcher shall be complete with motor operator mechanism and shunt trip capability (if applicable) for use as the primary interrupting device for a 115kV transformer. The mounting structure shall also be provided and be designed to mount on foundations and anchor bolts specified by LES. The disconnect blades furnished as an integral part of the circuit switcher shall be three-pole, single-throw. The interrupting device shall be of the sulfur-hexafluoride (SF6) type. The circuit switcher shall interrupt and close the circuit without restrike.
