Vendor shall perform the following background investigation services as directed by City’s designated representative. 2.2 Conduct pre-employment background investigations for the following, but not limited to, classifications: 2.2.1 Peace Officer Park Ranger. 2.2.2 Senior Park Ranger 2.2.3 Supervising Park Ranger 2.2.4 Chief Park Ranger 2.3 Background investigations must meet all current legal standards. 2.4 Vendor shall be responsible for developing, conducting, and reporting on background investigations for all candidates. 2.5 All background investigations must comply with the State of California Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training (“POST”) areas of investigation regulations. 2.6 All Peace Officer background investigations must include, AT A MINIMUM: 2.6.1 Citizenship verification. 2.6.2 Age verification. 2.6.3 Proof of eligibility to work in the United States. 2.6.4 Criminal record checks – Local, State, and National. 2.6.5 Civil court actions – check the civil filing index of the superior courts of all counties where the applicant worked or resided. 2.6.6 Driving history checks covering at least ten years from date of application. 2.6.7 Education verification. 2.6.8 Employment history checks covering at least ten years from date of application...
