The Village is interested in providing a street lighting system on Burning Bush Lane. Burning Bush Lane is a Village-owned collector street and from Kensington Road to Euclid Avenue the length is approximately 2,800’. Removal of the Commonwealth Edison lights located at the intersections along the proposed route will be included with this project. This project will provide Village streetlights at approximately 300’ spacing and at intersections, and installation of a new lighting controller. New lights will not be located within the Kensington Road ROW or the Euclid Avenue ROW. Permits from the Cook County Department of Transportation and Highways (CCDOTH) and the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) will not be required with this project. Design, construction, and construction engineering services will be funded 100% by the Village.
