The Transmission & Distribution Line Maintenance Contract 25-02 seeks sealed bids for work consisting of performing maintenance on an energized transmission and distribution electrical system. Work may consist of: replacing wooden utility poles with energized high-voltage circuits and associated hardware; inspecting and correcting/replacing as necessary, anchors, guy-wires and guy insulators on poles identified in the job packets; performing additional maintenance work on poles and associated hardware as requested; obtaining all permits to excavate / requests for locates; obtaining holes/sockets for poles; providing all transportation of crew(s), material, and equipment to and from work sites; and providing all necessary ADOT-approved and/or City of Ketchikan-approved traffic control; coordinating work and with customers and property owners.
