The College of DuPage (COD) is asking for a cost proposal associated with the removal and disposal of lab packed wastes, universal wastes, bulk hazardous wastes and non-hazardous/non-regulated wastes from the Glen Ellen, Illinois campus. Disposal services are estimated to be needed at least twice a year to accommodate the various waste that are collected. Proposals will be considered from vendors with a history of successfully providing similar services to other institutions of higher education or private sector corporations with similar wastes. Vendors should provide any evidence of experience or performance that would validate their capabilities. All work shall be performed during normal working hours, except as otherwise directed or approved by COD. “Normal working hours” is defined to be between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. During the months of June through August the College is also closed on Fridays. All recognized Federal and State holidays may also be excluded from this timetable.
