1. The scope of work will include comprehensive Construction Management Services for a new approximately 44,000 sf stand-alone classroom building at Kennedy Middle School currently known as the Mid County Separate Day School (reference Exhibit 1 Conceptual Plan), to include traffic and parking lot modifications. The building is scheduled to open for the 2027-2028 school year. a. The Separate Day School will be located on the southeast corner of the Kennedy Middle School property. b. Construction is planned to start by August 2025 with building completion no later than July 2027. Alternative schedules will be considered. c. The working budget is approximately $20 million. d. The District will be using a design by Harvard Jolly Architects. The conceptual plan details are attached as Exhibit 1. The construction manager will be expected to work collaboratively with the designer during the preconstruction phase. 2. The Scope of Work includes the following components: a.
