Asset management staff will be overhauling the existing hydraulic model in the coming years. From time to time, modeling expertise will be needed to improve, calibrate, and maintain the hydraulic model properly. The GIS staff will utilize the Consultant to provide some of the following tasks under an on-call service contract. • Provide technical support and guidance to asset management staff as questions or issues arise. • Assist with the interpretation of model results and provide recommendations to improve performance as needed. • Recommend and provide periodic training on calibration techniques and best practices. • Assist in using the hydraulic model to support decision-making for system upgrades, pressure management, and other planning activities. • Provide recommendations for improvements, updates, or repairs as needed.
