Video detection kits shall include: Video Camera, Video Detector, and Surge Panel. Each video detection system (video camera, video detector, surge protection panel and cabling) shall be packaged in one single box. Camera shall be color CCD imager which operates on 120-240 VAC, 50/60 Hz and provides NTSC video signals. There shall be separate connectors for the video (BNC) and the power supply to the camera. Camera shall have a minimum effective area of 768(v) x 494(h). Camera shall have an auto iris lens. Auto iris shall be time damped and controlled by scene luminescence. The camera shall provide usable video with a light range of 1.0 lux to 10,000 lux. The camera shall be provided with a suitable enclosure that may be non-pressurized or pressurized. The camera electronics shall include automatic gain control (AGC) to produce a satisfactory image at night. The lens shall be a 10x zoom lens with a focal length of 3.8mm to 38.0 mm. The glass face shall also employ a special coating to minimize the buildup of environmental debris such as dirt and water. It shall include an internal, thermostatically controlled heater. The connection for the power of the camera shall be a 6 foot pig-tail that is pre-made. The BNC and power cabling shall be a separate connection to the camera. The vendor shall supply two BNC connectors for the video cable. The BNC connector shall be compatible with Belden 8281 (20 AWG solid pin).
