University Health is soliciting Proposals for a qualified and experienced Broadline Food Distributor that will supply the main hospital campus located at 4502 Medical Drive, San Antonio, TX 78229. See Exhibit D: Facility Locations. Additionally, University Health will open two new community hospitals in 2027. The purpose of this RFP is to deliver the following benefits: *Form a strategic partnership: University Health is actively seeking a long-term strategic partnership with a single foodservice distributor that can service University Health. *Streamline Procurement Operations & Practices: University Health is seeking a strategic supplier partner that can assist with implementing industry-leading best practices in menu planning, food ordering, and inventory management. *Effectively leverage enterprise-wide purchasing power to create cost savings, consolidating its total spend across all facilities with one strategic foodservice distributor. Our intent is to award this business to the supplier that offers the best value within the terms and conditions outlined within this RFP.
