The City of Montpelier is seeking proposals from qualified organizations to develop and operate services in the “Community/Recreation Area” at the 203 Country Club Road site, as outlined in the site's Actionable Plan. This RFP aims to solicit proposals that align with the community's vision for a multi-use space that promotes recreation and community-oriented activities. If selected, the City will develop the terms of a long-term lease for recreational or community uses to complement existing activities and future City plans. Scope of Services • Development and operation of recreational programs (e.g., fitness classes, sports leagues, arts and crafts). • Within the “Community/Recreation” zone as identified in the Actionable Master Plan. Childcare to support area families. • Creation and management of community gathering spaces (e.g., meeting rooms, event spaces). • Provision of wellness services (e.g., health education, counseling). • Coordination with other site developments (e.g., housing). • Sustainable operation of facilities. • Emphasis on proposals that demonstrate: o Community responsiveness. o Inclusivity and accessibility. o Financial sustainability.
