The Village of Fox River Grove is seeking statements of qualifications from individuals or companies interested in serving as the Liaison for the Village’s Special Events Commission. This is a contract position designed to support the planning, coordination, and execution of public events throughout the year. Background The Special Events Commission organizes community-based events intended to promote civic pride, encourage resident participation, and enhance the overall quality of life in the Village. Approximately nine events are held annually, including (but not limited to): Easter Egg Hunt (March/April) Parks Fundraiser (June) Fireworks Celebration (July) Vintage Baseball Game (August) Fall Fun (October) Pumpkin Decorating Contest (October) Halloween Home Decorating Contest (October) Tree Lighting (December) Golf Cart Parade (December)
