The Work under this contract includes preparation and application of slurry seal on asphalt pavement surfaces, throughout the City of Salem. Temporary Protection and Direction of Traffic. Erosion Control Measures. Catch Basin and Inlet Protection. Asphalt Slurry Sealing. Slurry Seal, Type II (15 Lbs. per Sq. Yd.) 66,000 Sq. Yd.; The Contractor shall maintain one lane of traffic at all times on Arterial and Collector Streets. Work in Right-of-Way Permits are required before restricting any traffic in the City Right-of-Way (ROW) for construction. Various schools are located within and adjacent to the Project limits. The Contractor shall be expected to coordinate construction activities with school administrators, and to verify with them the hours of school operations and the times for any special evening or summer school functions.
