The overall scope of the project includes milling and paving, ADA ramp compliance, and partial curb and sidewalk repairs of the following road segments: Dayton Ave (From Monroe St to Highland Ave) [L =±2,368 L.F; W= 40 L.F.] Tulip St (From Oak St. to Monroe St) [L = ±508 L.F; W = 36 L.F.] The work consists of full Consulting Engineering Services, including labor, materials and every other item of expense necessary to design and prepare the final construction plans and specifications for the Road Improvement project. The Consultant shall visit the project site and become familiar with the project before submitting the proposal. The successful candidate must have significant experience in the Design of Road Reconstruction projects. The Road Reconstruction project will include, but not limited to, the following: PURPOSE AND BACKGROUND • Prepare base map survey • Replacement of sidewalk, as needed • Replacement of curbing, as needed • Replacement of storm inlets, as needed • Replacement of asphalt pavement • ADA compliance at all intersections • Signs and line striping • Delineated Parking Striping • Incorporation of Bike Lanes as per City of Passaic Bicycle Master Plan • Drainage improvements as required in accordance with NJ Stormwater Management Regulation • Tree removal and replacement, as needed • Soil Erosion compliance • Resetting of Manholes, Inlets, Water and Gas valves • Traffic Control Details Plans • Landscaping Restoration • Meetings as required with City officials to evaluate design and budget.
