The Flex Program is seeking a Contractor who will provide revenue cycle training to staff working in Minnesota rural emergency medical services’ billing departments. Training should cover the key steps of the revenue cycle: Accurate review and documentation of patient care Understanding and selecting procedure codes, diagnosis codes and modifiers Correctly filing ambulance claims Payment and follow-up Appeals and review processes of denied claims Internal auditing Sharing best practices for ambulance billing The scope of this project and the full deliverable includes developing marketing materials and advertising the training program to rural EMS in Minnesota, hosting training, and providing pre and post-test evaluations of participant knowledge gain back to the Minnesota Department of Health.
