Specifications include, but are not limited to: ctor shall clean up and remove all wood, brush, and vegetative debris created while performing the work. The Contractor is expected to work continuously to complete all listed work as expeditiously as possible. The work site shall be left in a condition satisfactory to the Project Manager. If woody debris cannot be removed from the work site, barricades and lights shall be utilized to protect the public. For bidding purposes, the Contractor must be able to meet productivity level of removing at least three (3) loads of thirty (30) cubic yards, or the equivalent as determined by the Project Manager, per loader crew per eight (8) hour workday. The Contractor may also be required to provide additional loads per crew day, as directed by the Agency. The Contractor must obtain written approval from the ACCO to store or spread clean chips on Park property within the borough at designated locations. The Contractor shall not dispose of debris on Parks’ property without prior authorization. A. WOODY DEBRIS REMOVAL FROM WORK SITE TO PARKS’ TEMPORARY STAGING AREA In order to maximize working time during storm events, the Contractor may be directed to bring woody debris directly from the work site to a temporary staging area on Parks property to store wood debris prior to disposal, per the Project Manager’s direction. This staging area is temporary and, at the direction of the Project Manager, the Contractor must remove and dispose of the woody debris within an agreed upon timeframe (see, Section C. Woody Debris Removal and Disposal from Parks’ Temporary Staging Area in this Article). To see a list of temporary debris storage sites, see Appendix A. These sites are subject to change at Parks’ sole discretion at any time, for any reason. For bid items #1a-1f: Emergency Aerial Tree Work Crew must include, at minimum: two (2) tree workers, two (2) crew members engaged as worksite safety specialists (flagmen), and one (1) grounds person. For bid items #2a-2f: Emergency Woody Debris Clean Up Crew must include, at minimum: one (1) tree worker, two (2) crew members engaged as worksite safety specialists (flagmen), and one (1) grounds person.
