Town of Wakefield Parks and Recreation is seeking proposals from qualified contractors to perform office repair work at our facility. The project includes carpet removal, floor installation, kitchen renovation, drywall repair, shower removal, and office reconfiguration. The selected contractor will be responsible for the following tasks: 1. Carpet Removal and Floor Installation: o Remove existing carpet and dispose of materials. o Prepare subfloor as necessary. o Install new flooring as specified (material to be determined). 2. Kitchen Renovation: o Remove and replace existing cabinetry, countertops, and fixtures. o Install new appliances (as needed). 3. Drywall Repair: o Patch and repair damaged drywall in various office areas. o Prime and paint repaired surfaces to match existing walls. 4. Shower Removal: o Remove existing shower unit. o Repair and refinish the space as necessary. 5. Office Reconfiguration: o Modify office layout to improve functionality. o Remove walls as required. o Relocate electrical outlets and lighting as needed.
