Furnish all labor, materials, tools and equipment necessary to remove, dispose and replace, approximately 100 feet west of the park entrance station next to the stop sign and crosswalk and will extend west along the road and end at the “Y” in the road, for an approximate total length of 2,580 lineal feet. The road will be widened, presently between about 16 feet to 18 feet, to a new 20-foot width, except for a single 100-foot-long stretch of road that can only be widened to 18 feet. The road shoulders and sporadic failed areas will be saw-cut with the old asphalt removed; then new 3-inch-thick hot mix asphalt, over compacted class II rock base, will be placed on one or both sides of road, depending on available working area, between zero to 3 feet widths, bringing the road to the new width. Some grading on the side of the road will be necessary to achieve the new paving.
