RTC intends to contract with a System Manager to assist with the management, scheduling and oversight for the replacement of the existing traffic signal controllers with the newly acquired ATC-compliant controllers with firmware. This will include asset management of the controllers from time of delivery to deployment in the field traffic signal cabinets, coordination with RTC and member entities throughout the deployment process, management of the project schedule, and management of a risk register to reduce project risks that may impact the deployments. The anticipated deployment schedule will be eighteen (18) months from the time of delivery of the first batch of traffic signal controllers. The System Manager will manage the deployment of the controllers and ensure compliance with the agreed upon deployment schedule.
