The city seeks proposals from qualified firms and/or individuals to already have developed or to develop and implement a cloud-based program to facilitate the planning, tracking, and the distribution of needed supplies and homebound meals to individuals with additional support needs prior to, during and after declared emergencies. The solution will be user-friendly for the members of the NOHSEP team, external partners and individuals with additional support needs throughout the city. The solution will have a companion or standalone mobile application with the ability to function across mobile communications networks at anytime from anywhere. This solution will also provide for transportation scheduling, tracking and mapping of the New Orleans area for general use prior to, during and after an event. The software must be able to be integrated into the current and future GIS tools used by NOHSEP during emergency conditions.
