The contractor shall comply with all plans, specifications, and CBDG project management guidelines during the execution of this project. Primarily the work includes the following activities: Project management. Submit and obtain approval of proposed materials from the engineer of record. Attend pre-construction and progress meetings as needed. Comply with CDBG grant guidelines and forms. Comply with CDBG Special Provisions. Comply with SCDOT permit requirements. Comply with SCDES and CZC permit requirements. Install and maintain erosion control devices. Provide temporary pedestrian and traffic protection at the work area. Site demolition and debris removal off site. Rough and fine grading, including subbase compaction. Furnish and Install (F/I) pervious concrete or alternate material: pervious pavers in parking areas. F/I Type C SCDOT Hot Mix Asphalt in drive-in area. F/I concrete wheelstops F/I concrete sidewalk and driveway. F/I solar lights with concrete bases. F/I electrical vehicle (EV) charging station, including concrete base pad. Coordinate electrical service feed for EV charging station with utility company. F/I permanent traffic control devices. F/I pavement markings, including stripe lines and ADA stalls. Landscaping. Rain gardens. F/I chain link commercial grade black vinyl fencing or alternate: decorative aluminum fencing.
