2.1 Contractor shall replace the playground structure currently located at Fox Trail Park. 2.2 City staff will remove all existing equipment and prep site for work. 2.3 Photo of the area is in the attachment section. 2.4 Playground site will be approximately 75’ wide by 100’ in length with some variation upon time of installation. (approximately 7,500 square feet) 2.5 All structures shall meet the most recent ADA, ASTM and CPSC requirements and specifications for playground equipment. 2.6 Contractor shall provide two (2) play structures, a 2-5 year old play structure and a 5-12 year old play structure. 2.7 New play structures shall have a “nature and animal” look and color scheme. 2.8 This playground shall contain as many Universally Accessible features as practical. 2.9 Contract shall provide a ramp to be the main access to the play structures as well as ramps between platforms as needed. An accessible transfer point may be a secondary access. Accessible transfer points are not considered a play event and will not be counted in the event total, neither will accessible ramps. 2.10 All posts for the 2-5 year old and 5-12 year old structures shall be a minimum of 5” diameter o.d. pipe, or an approved equal. Equivalents shall be submitted in writing prior to the question deadline to be included with the addendum.
