A. Once the need to conduct a home visit to an eligible project participant is identified, NSD/NRD will notify Contractor. Contractor will then conduct a home visit to determine which energy measures are required and will: 1. Be responsible for contacting the program participant to arrange an energy audit. 2. Identify immediate health and safety concerns to include immediate need related appliances and heating, and cooling systems. 3. Address energy burden(s) and efficiency. 4. Determine if appliances are functioning safely and appropriately. B. Conduct the initial energy audits. C. Draft an individualized project-based scope of work utilizing the house energy modeling program Nexus/Optimiser (or most current version approved by the Arizona Department of Housing) as applicable and provide a cost estimate to include funding source recommendations. D. Submit the project-based scope of work to NSD/NRD for approval. E. Schedule all work activities and communicate directly with project participant. F. Provide an explanation to the project participant of anticipated work activities and necessary paperwork. G. Acquire a signed scope of work approval from both the City and the project participant prior to conducting any work. H. Ensure all work is completed per the approved project-based scope of work. I. Conduct the final energy audit(s). J. Conduct a final Quality Control Inspection (QCI) to include: 1. Entering diagnostic testing numbers into the designated Nexus/OptiMiser online database. 2. Promptly paying contractors/vendors for accepted and completed work activities.
