Highway Maintenance and Repair projects, such as installation of concrete, granite and split stone curbing, sidewalks – concrete or asphalt, handicap and driveway ramps and installation of drainage pipes and structures. • The Contractor shall provide all of the necessary labor, materials for Alternate #1 only, and equipment to supply and install concrete, granite and split stone curbing, sidewalks-concrete or asphalt, concrete handicap ramps, reinforced concrete driveway ramps, bituminous driveway ramps, drainage structures, manholes, pipes and fencing for the Town of Greenwich. • There is no guarantee as to the total amount of work that the Town may order from the Contractor. • The Town of Greenwich reserves the right to increase, decrease or eliminate items and quantities. • The Contractor is responsible for disposal of all spoils/excess materials, exclusive of suspected materials. The Town of Greenwich cannot guarantee use of storage or temporary dumpsite. • The Contractor shall ensure that no unsafe or hazardous conditions shall be allowed to remain unguarded after working hours. The Contractor shall maintain ADA accessibility. The Contractor shall be responsible for providing adequate and approved temporary fencing and/or barricades and signs to protect the public from hazards resulting from their work. After acceptance of the work by the Town, such temporary fencing and/or barricades and signs shall be removed at no expense to the Town.
