The intent of this project is to replace the metal roof to prevent further interior damage to the facility and to allow the building to be reopened to the public. Remove all existing Galvalume Roofing panels, underlayment, and rake boards at gable ends and dispose of them in accordance with state and local regulations from primary building roof and front porch structure. Inspect existing roof deck boards for deterioration. Remove and replace all existing wood roof decking boards that show evidence of deterioration. Assume the replacement of 560 SF of existing roof deck boards for bid proposal. Provide unit price for replacement of additional deck boards on a per square foot basis. New deck boards to be attached to existing roof trusses with 2 ring shank galvanized 10d nails or corrosion resistant 3” #10 wood screws at each truss/rafter location.
