The purpose of this RFO is to select one (1) experienced Senior Business Intelligence (BI) Engineer with detailed knowledge and experience of Business Intelligence and Data Warehouse (BI & DW) solution implementation efforts especially to support a pension or financial services organization, to work within the Enterprise IT Solutions & Innovation Division of the CalSTRS Technology Services Branch. The Senior BI Engineer (Contractor) is responsible for implementing AI-powered business intelligence use cases, architecting, designing, and optimizing CalSTRS existing BI & DW systems and infrastructure that drive Artificial Intelligence (AI) enhanced business intelligence for CalSTRS. The role combines technical expertise in business intelligence, data architecture, data modeling, and ETL processes with a strategic focus on transforming raw data into actionable insights. The Senior BI Engineer shall have detailed knowledge and extensive experience with technical expertise for BI & DW tools, standards, processes, and architectures to participate on the CalSTRS Core BI & DW Technical Team through implementation of an AI enhanced enterprise BI & DW solution.
