MSU Western Triangle Ag Res. Cntr is seeking a Zimmatic lateral irrigation system. This a brand specific solicitation, only responses using Zimmatic controls will be accepted. This bid is brand name specific so we have irrigation systems throughout all of the Montana Ag Research Centers with the same controls, software, and operations for continuity of research and operations. Montana State University-Western Triangle Ag Research Center (WTARC) located near Conrad, Montana conducts agronomic research and education programs for agriculture in the dry land and irrigated areas for counties in Northern Montana. WTARC is requesting proposals for the purchase and installation of one lateral move pivot irrigation system. It will be located at the WTARC Ag Research Center site. Conrad, MT is located in a high wind area and any system must be able to withstand and operate in the local weather conditions and high wind gusts. The towers and support structure must also be sufficient to withstand Conrad, MT weather conditions. The system must be fully and easily winterized with minimal steps.
