Project Description Overview - The Nantucket Public Schools is proposing to construct a new modular two-story (basement and main floor) office building at 24 Surfside Road to provide much needed space for administration staff and personnel. Site - The new building is proposed to be constructed in the southeast corner of the property (close to where the existing garage is located). In addition to the new building, the project proposes installing a new gravel parking aa, walkways, and a small patio space. Building - The overall square footage of level 1, that serves as the main office area, is 3,620 sf. An entrance porch leads to a vestibule and waiting area. The building is laid out with 8 perimeter offices, a conference room, wellness room and a break room, along with an administrative area.
