The City of Arcadia has multiple facilities that require an upgrade to their security alarm and fire suppression system. These facilities also need updated high-resolution cameras and an access control system that can be easily utilized. The City of Arcadia currently has three different service providers for the security alarm and fire suppression system, access control system, and cameras. The city would like to have one firm that can provide security alarm system, fire suppression system, access control, and camera installation services. All of these must be able to effectively work together and be easy for staff to use and understand. The selected firm will be responsible for the initial installation and programming of all alarm panels (security panels, fire alarm panels, and panic alarms). The city will only compensate the selected firm for one programming visit per site. Camera Upgrade/Installation and Access Control Panels Replace existing cameras and access control systems with a modern, cloud-based solution that addresses the limitations of the current infrastructure. The goal is to improve the quality, functionality, and security of video surveillance, and access control within City facilities. The city requires citywide surveillance, allowing centralized monitoring and proactive response to security incidents, while ensuring compliance with current and future operational needs. The objectives for cameras and access control system throughout City facilities include the following: - Upgrade video surveillance: Replace current low-resolution cameras with highdefinition (HD) cameras capable of detailed video recording. - Install additional cameras in areas that should have video surveillance. - Add audio capture: Integrate audio recordings for specific areas, such as the library lobby to enhance investigation capabilities.
