The goal of this RFP is to retain a contractor who will manage the OWS clean economy portfolio, develop workforce components and budgets for federal grant opportunities, work with various state agencies for a cohesive and comprehensive approach to pursuing federal funds, lead the CCEC efforts to ensure a climateready workforce, coordinate in-person sector-based clean economy events with various stakeholders, manage the workforce needs assessment process and will represent OWS across multiple State agencies and Clean Economy working groups to advise on workforce development initiatives. The program manager will coordinate the establishment and administration of the statewide Clean Economy Sector Partnership, organize the creation of Clean Economy regional industry sector partnerships, and coordinate statewide clean economy work with RSP contractors to create a Clean Economy RSP framework and strategic plan.
