A. Provide best practice in current school-based therapy and/or evaluations; B. Comply with the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) and Mississippi Policies and Procedures State Board Policy 74.19 for Children with Disabilities; C. To provide an autorefractor reading, a monocular and binocular visual acuity at both distance and near. If the ophthalmologist or optometrist determines the child does not have a vision problem or impairment, or if it is determined the child has a vision problem correctable with aids such as glasses or contacts, the ophthalmologist or optometrist will provide a statement indicating such and include with the screening report; D. Comply with Ocean Springs School District Policies and Procedures; and E. Provide services during the 2026-2028 school years and extended school year as necessary
