Notice is hereby given that the City of Presque Isle will receive sealed bids from qualified contractors for the replacement of the Williams Brook crossing on Egypt Road. Sealed Bids addressed to the Presque Isle City Clerk and endorsed on the wrapper: “Williams Brook Bridge Bid” will be received at City Hall, 12 Second Street, Presque Isle, ME 04769 until 2:00 P.M. (prevailing time) on April 23rd, 2025. Bids will be publicly opened and read at 2:00 P.M. at City Hall (3rd floor Council Chambers) on April 23rd, 2025. Bids may alternatively be hand delivered at this address and time. The work to be done under this contract consists of removal of existing culverts, installation of concrete block abutments, steel superstructure, precast concrete deck, riprap, and guardrail, roadwork and other incidental work.
