The Work of the Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following: 1. The development of a new community Plaza space named Centennial Plaza that will celebrate Route 66 and the city. The project consists of a newly paved plaza area and artificial turf with tables and chairs for the community and tourists to enjoy throughout the day. Within the open space, there are areas for Route 66 memorabilia or exhibits to be displayed as an extension of Route 66 Museum. There is a dedicated drive lane for cars to pull up adjacent to a mural for photos. At the corner of the site will be a large, steel, weather protection structure that will cover the Bob Waldmire Road Yacht. Adjacent to the structure is a marquee neon sign calling attention to the Plaza. 2. The project consists of but not limited to demolition of existing parking lot paving, Burying of electrical and Data lines to the building, Grading, Excavation, Structural Concrete foundations, Steel fabrication, TPO Roof assembly, PVC board ceiling, Electrical, Lighting, Concrete paving, Brick pavers, Asphalt paving, Artificial Turf, Graphics, Signage, Wood fence and gates and painting
