In order to fulfill the purpose of this study, the CONSULTANT shall undertake the following scope of work. The total budget for the project is $250,000. All funding has been appropriated and the project will proceed immediately upon selection of a CONSULTANT. • Task 1: Space Inventory / Existing Conditions. Work for this task shall include the following: A. Inventory of existing useable space currently available within all buildings comprising the Municipal Complex, current layout and utilization of said buildings, including the update and/or preparation of scaled floor plans in AutoCAD format. This sub-task shall also include detailed analysis of square footage currently allocated to each Department, as well as staffing trends for all departments operating within buildings at the City Hall Campus dating back to 1980. B. In conjunction with Task 1A, the CONSULTANT shall also complete a Property Condition Assessment (PCA) for all buildings located at the Municipal Complex. The purpose of the assessment shall be to identify obvious deficiencies such as, but not limited to: type of construction, compliance with the Americans with Disability Act, deferred maintenance impacting structural conditions of buildings (if any), obvious building deterioration, condition and adequacy of core facilities (including, but not limited to, restrooms, elevator, stairwells, breakrooms, etc.) and building systems (including, but not limited to, mechanical systems, electrical systems including emergency generators, plumbing systems, fire protection systems including sprinklers, security systems, etc.), etc. The CONSULTANT shall prepare a narrative detailing its findings for each building...
