Overview LSUHSC-S is looking for a nationally reputable company with extensive experience in collecting provided data to understand the present employment status; applying the findings to current market conditions within state funding restrictions; making recommendations to align the findings with a categorization of titles and duties, and to provide realistic goals of equity attainable within the parameters of State guidelines and funding. Our staff includes department heads, researchers, managers, and office personnel that totals just over 600 full and part-time staff who are not faculty and not resident/fellows. Our desire is to categorize the job duties and position them with appropriate job titles and salaries that will allow us to create a more uniform structure for our institution. Goals and Objectives LSUHSC-S seeks an experienced Contractor to advise on solutions to address and rectify salary compression, pay inequities, and misalignment between job responsibilities and job titles for non-faculty and non-resident/fellow staff. The Contractor will be asked to conduct the following: Assess current job titles and descriptions. Propose a ranking system with salary bands. Suggest more appropriate job titles and descriptions based on business needs. Provide recommendations on the phase in/prioritization of progression series, qualifying criteria, and salary ranges based on national trends, regional benchmarks, and in consideration of state funding limitations.
